In 2005, while I was still working as a pilot, I once flew my boss and his wife to Key West for a wedding they were attending.  As soon as we arrived, I rented a scooter and was off with my camera.  Key West really is the end of road, both literally and figuratively.  With its eclectic mix of artists, writers, fishermen, and those who simply don't want to be found, Key West definitely has a salty character all its own.  And with the dive bars on Duval Street staying open till 4am, there is always a party to be found somewhere!
